Terms and Conditions
SHIPPING:
Once purchased and paid for, items will usually be packaged and posted within a day and certainly no more than two days. Delays will be advised by email, although this is a rare occurrence.
Delivery times will vary. Buyers will receive notification of despatch, after which delivery will be in the hands of Royal Mail. Most items arrive within the UK the day after posting, but this can be held up when items are sent by Recorded delivery, or by strike action. Unfortunately, this is outside my control.
More valuable items will be sent by Special Delivery, which guarantees next working day delivery to UK postcodes. I generally find that this service still succeeds, even during strike action.
Overseas items will be sent by a standard Airmail service. In my experience, delivery times can vary from a few days to two or three weeks.
More valuable items will be sent by an International Signed For Airmail service. This service usually arrives more quickly than standard Airmail items but, again, does not have a guaranteed delivery duration.
Strike action within the UK postal service may cause delays on International deliveries.
CANCELLATIONS:
If you have agreed to purchase an item, but no longer require it, please contact me as soon as possible to arrange cancellation. I would like to know so that I can release the item you have purchased back in to available stock.
If payment has already been made, this will be refunded in full in the event that cancellation is notified before I have despatched the item. Please be aware that I do post items out quite promptly after payment. If an item has already been posted, you will need to contact me to arrange return on arrival of the item at your delivery address.
RETURNS:
Generally, second hand laptop computer parts offered within this online store are provided with a 14 (fourteen) day Return To Base warranty. Some items will carry a longer warranty period, and some will have no warranty due to being sold as faulty or dead. These exceptions will be clearly stated within the relevant item descriptions.
If you have purchased an item that has proven to be faulty on installation, please contact me at simon@laptopguts.co.uk BEFORE returning your purchase. I will advise what you should do when replying to your email.
On receipt of return authorisation, please ensure your purchase is returned promptly. On safe arrival of the goods, I will issue a refund via your original payment method. Return postage may be refunded, at my discretion.
If you have an item you would like to return due to a change of mind, which you are legally entitled to do within 14 days of purchase, again please contact me beforehand. This also goes for items that may have arrived damaged.
The general rule being, please contact me. I am a very reasonable man, and will respond to enquiries to the best of my ability.
