Shipping Policy

United Kingdom:

  • DELIVERY OPTIONS:
    • FREE Standard Post & Packing on any order. This will either be Royal Mail First Class, or MyHermes parcel delivery service, depending on the size and/or value of the item being sent - this will be at Laptop Guts' discretion.  MyHermes provides tracking and will usually arrive within two days (mainland UK addresses).  Highlands and Islands may take a little longer.
    • Special Delivery (Priority Handling, Tracking and Signature) available for an additional £6.00 (selectable during Checkout).
       
  • Damage Claims:
    • If a signature is required, and the packaging is visibly damaged, please mark the manifest accordingly when you sign.  This will help in the event that a claim has to be submitted to the carrier.
    • If your item arrives damaged, please notify Laptop Guts as soon as possible, ideally providing a picture of the packaging and goods.
    • In order to allow the claim to be investigated, please retain all items until instructed otherwise.
       
  • Item Not Arrived Claims:
    • Royal Mail will not consider 1st Class items lost until 15 WORKING days have passed.  This equates to THREE WEEKS from date of posting.  I cannot claim until after this threshold has passed.

Overseas:

  • DELIVERY OPTIONS:
    • Post & Packing charged according to order weight, using Royal Mail's Standard Airmail Service (there is no tracking number with this service).
    • Optional International Signed For service offers limited tracking facilities, and requires a signature on delivery.
    • Optional Airsure service offers priority handling, and better tracking.  This service is only available to countries that support it.  If it is not shown as an option during Checkout, it is not available to your country.
    • If you would like expedited shipping using a courier such as DHL, please email your requirements, and you will receive a quote to provide this service.  The costs are generally not viable for the value of the parts offered on this website.
    • Due to packages having to be handled by more than one postal service provider, delivery can take up to THREE WEEKS, in some cases.
